Our Mission

Since 1959, Slavic World for Christ has been proclaiming the Good News and providing spiritual resources to people throughout the Slavic World. In 1991 a church was planted in western Ukraine, and it continues the important work of sharing Christ’s love and meeting the needs of people throughout Ukraine.

The year 2025 has come to an end. For us, it was another challenging year, especially in the last few months. We endured numerous casualties, widespread destruction, long power outages, and disruptions to water and heating in many cities.

The month of November turned out to be deeply painful for us.

The month of October has always been a special month. Traditionally in the first half of October, we celebrate Thanksgiving Day (or Harvest Day). This is a day when we specifically focus on giving thanks to the Lord for all His bountiful mercies and generosity.
